Lighting and composition create the dynamics of an image. But without motion it is no film.

I live in London, working freelance in the camera department. I studied Cinematography at the Arts Institute in Bournemouth and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). I’ve lit and lensed numerous fiction short films, music videos, small promos and commercials.

Most of my work was shot on 16mm film and HD video. I embrace the optical quality of celluloid but also the immediateness of digital technology.
